First-time visit to this casual dining spot, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was top-notch, and the menu offered interesting options. Our choices were the Shrimp & Grits and Hot Chicken Pancake, both of which were delicious. While the prices were a bit on the higher side for casual dining, the unique flavors definitely make it worth a try. Overall, a great dining experience!
We have been here twice now and I must say it is becoming one of my favorites! From the first time we stepped in the door we were welcomed. Staff is very polite and patient as we were asking about the different menu items. The quality and amount of food was excellent. There are many classics on the menu and a few others that keep things interesting.
If you are looking for a great place to eat and enjoy a location that is not a chain, you owe it to yourself to give it a try!
I can’t write enough wonderful comments about my dining experience at the Curious Pig in Peachtree City! I was looking for a nice interesting place for solo dining that was not a chain and I stumbled upon this local place that has quite a following.
From the minute I walked into the restaurant on a Tuesday evening, every employee could not have been more welcoming. I decided to try it because of their happy hour specials, and no surprise, when I arrived, the bar was full. I started to sit at a table, but lucky for me quickly there was a place available and I moved to the bar.
All wines by the glass were $4 so I started with a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc followed by an Argentinian Malbec. I wish the wine list was a little larger, but the choices were ok and the pours looked to be about 6 generous ounces. The bartender Jacob was fantastic, and he definitely has a passion for cocktails evidenced by their very interesting list.
All the appetizers were 25 pct off. I started with brussels sprouts, followed by lobster empanadas and finally a panzanella salad. The portions were huge so a to go box was in order.
The Brussels were a generous portion and the flavor combination of the bacon, miso crema and gremolata were spot on. The temperature could have been a little warmer, but didn’t really detract from the dish.
The Lobster Empanadas were fried to perfection without being the least bit greasy. They were filled full of generous chunks of lobster and the chimo mayo sauce served on the side was good, but didn’t really add much.
Finally, I relied on bartender Jacob’s recommendation for the Panzanella salad, which is not something I would normally order, and it was off the hook. The garlic chili vinaigarette tossed with cubes of cornbread and tomatoes, basil and parmesan, was the perfect marriage of sweet and spicy.
By the time I left, the place was filling up and I had met two nice young local women who filled me in on the restaurant and the area in general.
Good news is they told me about another new place that just opened, The Curious Cantina, which is about 10 minutes away and another place in Senoia, The Curious Kitchen. Looking forward to checking them out and returning again !
Arron was FANTASTIC!! The food was good, the atmosphere, and service was amazing! My bf and I came here for the first time after seeing a fb post on life in the ptc bubble about this place and decided to give it a try. This place did not disappoint and it feels very homey and comfortable. I ordered the OG burger and my bf ordered the Nashville pancakes. Both of them were delicious and my bf has a new favorite food! Definitely recommend them and I will be telling all my friends about this place!!
Great gastropub fare for lunch! I had the Lobster Empanadas, Fried Chicken Tacos lunch special and fries. Very friendly servers and casual atmosphere. Unique and interesting Smoked Ice Cream for dessert (the vanilla beans are put in the smoker as I understand it).
This place came highly recommended to me by many people, and I finally went to decide for myself. It did not disappoint!! Started with the lobster empandas, creamy and filled with lobster, just the right amount of crisp to the outside. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I haven't had such delicious steaks except for upper scale restaurants. My husband had the smash burger, and it was delicious. I wanted another bite! The drinks were just right and left a great taste. The parking was just okay, and the outside could use some love. Overall, it was excellent, we will return, and I highly recommend a stop by!
First visit. Interesting menu. I ordered the OG Smash Burger with Mac and Cheese. Food came out very quickly. Customer service was excellent. Food was delicious. I really liked the Mac and Cheese. This location is highly recommended. It is off the beaten path. But well worth it if you are in the area. Give it a try!
Another flight delayed due to weather landed me in a courtesy car following the advice of the college babe at the counter to try the Curious Pig! I bellied up to the bar for a single seat and conversation. The bartender recommended the New Orleans (BBQ Style) Shrimp. There’s only one word to describe it-Delicious! Need I say more? Don’t get me going. GO TO THE CURIOUS PIG-you he glad you did.
